چکیده
The physical mechanism for the emergence of ring and semi-ring plasma structures around electrolyte jets in a high-frequency discharge with liquid jet electrodes. It is shown that electric field strength flow decay region can reach values 10 9 -10 V/m, at which autoelectronic emission possible, leading to appearance vicinity primary electrons, leads ionization excitation molecules surrounding gaseous medium. Keywords: Plasma-liquid systems, discharge, electrolytes, numerical methods.

High - frequency Jet Ventilation
High-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) describes a technique of mechanical respiratory support based on the delivery of gases under conditions of constant flow and low pressure. Among the benefits ascribed to HFJV are lessened interference with hemodynamic function and reduced danger of barofrauma. The theoretical and technical aspects of HFJV are discussed and the clinical experience with 39 pa...
متن کاملRF-Breakdown in High-Frequency Accelerators
RF breakdown in high-frequency accelerators appears to limit the maximum achievable gradient as well as the reliability of such devices. Experimental results from high power tests, obtained mostly in the framework of the NLC/GLC project at 11 GHz and from the CLIC study at 30 GHz, will be used to illustrate the important issues. The dependence of the breakdown phenomena on rf pulse length, oper...
متن کاملFrequency dependence of lung volume changes during superimposed high-frequency jet ventilation and high-frequency jet ventilation.
BACKGROUND Superimposed high-frequency jet ventilation (SHFJV) has proved to be safe and effective in clinical practice. However, it is unclear which frequency range optimizes ventilation and gas exchange. The aim of this study was to systematically compare high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) with HFJV by assessing chest wall volume variations (ΔEEV(CW)) and gas exchange in relation to variab...
متن کاملUse of high-frequency jet ventilation in neonates with hypoxemia refractory to high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
OBJECTIVE To describe the response to high-frequency jet ventilation in infants with hypoxemic respiratory failure unresponsive to high-frequency oscillatory ventilation. METHODS This was a retrospective analysis of chart records on demographics, ventilator settings, blood gas analysis and calculated oxygenation index prior to and during the first 7 days of high-frequency jet ventilation in t...
